It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of our beloved son. Richard Jimmy Taylor was born in Hearst May 27, 1976. Richard was the son of Mary Boissoneau (nee Sutherland), step-son to Joe Boissoneau. Step-son to Ada Sutherland. Predeceased by his father Archie Moore Sr., paternal grandparents James Moore and Nancy Moore (nee Betsy), maternal grandparents Bert Sutherland and Jane Sutherland (nee Chookomolin), and uncle Henry Moore.

Richard was a loving father to his son Landen and daughters Ainsley and Laney. Dear brother to Marlene (Rob), Pauline (Ron), Lesley (Winston), Albert, James (Charity), Leona (Ramsey), Archie Jr, Elsa (Steve), Tara (Fredrick). Dayna, Deidra (Sarah), and David. Cherished uncle to Garren, Kiara, Breadan, Danesha, RJ, Trenton, Calvin, Colton, Sethe, Aira, Breseis, Isabelle, Blaine, Dane, Beesym, Hendrix, Halen, Caydann (peanut), Hayden, Renata, Marshall, James Jr, Jesse, Bailey, Marley, Nate, Evanika, Mya-Lee, Drea, Nicholas, Malakai, Madison, Liberty, Sage and Fredrick Jr. Special Great uncle to Delilah Joyce. Richard will be greatly missed by his aunts Marilyn, Edith, Leona, Anita, uncles Bert Jr., Bradford, David, Abraham and many aunts, uncles, cousins and friends. He will be greatly missed by his best friend/brother Neil.  The family would like to acknowledge his extended families. Richard is predeceased by Lyce Taylor and Josephine Taylor (nee Neotapin).  nda, Audrey and Brian (late Agnes Bunting). He was also cherished uncle and great uncle to many nieces and nephews.  Predeceased by James Sutherland and Janet Sutherland (Nee Faries) and uncle Simon Sutherland. Dear nephew to Ricky (Susan), Lizzie, Daniel, and Standsinwater (aka Allen).

He was always silly, and loved to make everyone laugh or smile with his dancing his many expressions and stories. Richard had a huge love and passion for playing guitar and when he had opportunity taught others how to play. Richard was well known for his sense of humour, his kindness and generous heart. He always wanted to give a helping hand without asking for anything in return. He always had a smile on his face and was really friendly with everyone he met. Whenever Richard went home to Constance Lake, he enjoyed being out on the land either hunting, fishing or trapping. Richard will be greatly missed by everyone that had the privilege of knowing his kind and gentle soul.

A private funeral service for immediate family members for Richard Taylor will be held at Daniel Sutherland's Residence in Constance Lake First Nation at 11am on Saturday June 27, 2020.  Officiated by Pastor Glen Wesley. Burial service will take place immediately thereafter at Constance Lake Cemetery.
Wake Services will be held at Daniel Sutherland's Residence on Friday June 26th, 2020.
