It is with heavy hearts that we announce the sudden and unexpected death of Carmela on Sunday February 27, 2022, in her 78th year. Loving wife of the late Casimiro Tatonetti. Dearest mother of Lori LaRue (Paul Innocente) and Sandra Zultek (John). Proudest Nonna of Alexandra Zultek (Justin), Katie Parker (Ben), Zachary LaRue (Natasha), Andrew Zultek (Amber) and Jenna LaRue (Ryan). Predeceased by her parents Rocco and Virginia (nee Frani) DiFelice. Carmela will be missed by her sisters-in-law Lidia Frani (late Amerigo), Assunta DiRenzo (late Silvio) and her brother-in-law Bruno (Giuseppina) Tatonetti of Italy. Daughter-in-law to the late Nicola and Gudita (nee Paciocco) Tatonetti. Carmela was loved by her late cousin Livio Frani (late Dora). She will be missed by her many nieces and nephews. Carmela was blessed to have amazing family and friends who loved her here in Canada, Italy and the U.S.
Family and friends are invited to visit at O'Sullivan Funeral Home on Sunday, March 6th, 2022, from 5:00 pm - 8:00 pm. A Funeral Mass will be held on Monday March 7, 2022, at 11:00am at St. Gregory’s Church with Father Trevor Scarfone officiating. Entombment to follow at Holy Sepulchre Cemetery. Due to the Covid-19 restrictions, and as per the family, face coverings must be worn, social distancing will be adhered to, and proof of double vaccination will be required to attend the visitation at O'Sullivan Funeral Home.

Madre di Lori LaRue (Paul Innocente) e Sandra Zultek (John). Orgogliosa nonna di Alexandra Zultek (Justin), Katie Parker (Ben), Zachary LaRue (Natasha), Andrew Zultek (Amber) e Jenna LaRue (Ryan). Figlia di Rocco DiFelice e Virginia Frani. Carmela mancheranno le cognate Lidia (defunto Amerigo) Frani, Assunta DiRenzo (defunto Silvio) e suo cognato Bruno (Giuseppina) Tatonetti d'Italia. Nuora del compianto Nicola e Gudita (nata Paciocco) Tatonetti. Carmela era amata dal suo defunto cugino Livio (defunta Dora) Frani. Mancherà alle sue numerose nipoti e nipoti. Carmela ha avuto la fortuna di avere una famiglia e degli amici straordinari che l'hanno amata qui in Canada, Italia e Stati Uniti.
La famiglia e gli amici sono invitati a visitare O'Sullivan Funeral Home domenica 6 marzo 2022 dalle 16:00 alle 20:00. Il funerale si terrà lunedì 7 marzo 2022, alle 11:00 presso la St. Gregory’s Church, con l'officiante di padre Trevor Scarfone. Segue la sepoltura al Holy Sepulchre Cemetery. A causa delle restrizioni Covid-19, e come per la famiglia, è necessario indossare coperture per il viso, sarà rispettato il distanziamento sociale e sarà richiesta la prova della doppia vaccinazione per partecipare alla visita all'O'Sullivan Funeral Home.
