Died peacefully at Tendercare Nursing Home surrounded by his family on Friday May 26, 2006; Salvatore Tassone at the age of 90 years. Beloved husband of Margaret. Dear father of Connie Carello (late Frank), Frank (Julia), Bruno (Ruth), Joe (Lisa), the late Ross, Cosimo (Polly), Rosemary Tassone and special family member Paul Scornaienchi. Loving nono to Tony Carello (Barbara), Rosario Carello (Sylvia), Pina Bruni (Michael), Rosa Carello, Sam Tassone (Trina), Sandra Tassone, Joe Tassone (Jessica), Margaret Zaccaria (Moses), Sonia Tassone and Michael Tassone. Great nono of Connie Carello, Frank Carello, Michael Bruni Jr., Joseph Bruni, Christina Carello, Sarah Carello, Jacob Zaccaria, Joshua Zaccaria and Sarah Zaccaria. Brother of the late Caterina Tassone and the late Bruno Tassone. Brother-in-law of Rose Denarda, Nancy Denarda and the late Clementine Fortunato (late Carlo). Salvatore will be fondly remembered by his many nieces and nephews and his fellow Bocci players. Friends may call at the Northwood Funeral Home (942 Great Northern Road 945-7758) on Tuesday May 30, 2006 from 11:00 a.m. until time of funeral service in the Chapel at 1:00 with Father Michael Williams officiating. Entombment at the Holy Sepulchre Cemetery Mausoleum. Memorial donations made to the Tendercare Residents Council would be greatly appreciated by the family.
