Died peacefully at Tendercare Nursing Home surrounded by her family on Wednesday, February 7, 2007; Margherita Tassone at the age of 80 years. Beloved wife of the late Salvatore Tassone. Loving mother of Connie Carello (late Frank), Frank (Julia), Bruno (Ruth), Joe (Lisa), the late Ross, Cosimo (Polly), Rosemary Tassone (Don) and special family member Paul Scornaienchi. Loving nonna to Tony Carello (Barbara), Rosario Carello (Sylvia), Pina Bruni (Michael), Rosa Carello, Sam Tassone (Trina), Sandra Tassone, Joe Tassone (Jessica), Margaret Zaccaria (Moses), Sonia Tassone and Michael Tassone. Great nonna of Connie Carello, Frank Carello, Michael Bruni Jr., Joseph Bruni, Christina Carello, Sarah Carello, Jacob Zaccaria, Joshua Zaccaria and Sarah Zaccaria. Sister of Rose Denarda, Nancy Denarda and the late Clementina Fortunato (late Carlo). Sister-in-law of the late Caterina Tassone and the late Bruno Tassone. Margherita will be fondly remembered by her many nieces and nephews.
