Passed away peacefully at the Mauno Kaihli Koti nursing home in Sault Ste. Marie on Friday, March 5, 2021 at the age of 84.
Predeceased by her Husband Peter of 59 years and her parents Ernest Bock and Annie (Ruttle) and stepmother Francis (Hilderley). Loving mother of Lana Huard and Steve Tarabas (Val). Cherished Grandmother of Melanie Morris, and James Tarabas, Nathan Huard (Krystel). Great grandmother of Ireland and Lauren Lavalle, Noah Morris and Ayla Tarabas, Clark and Quinten Huard.
Evie was an outgoing, inventive person, who loved meeting people and trying new things. She never stopped, was always, always busy on the go and never could sit still. She loved cooking, canning and experimenting with recipes. She had a love of the outdoors, farming, gardening, and selling her vegetables, homemade crafts, baking and canning at the farmers market.
She loved her grandchildren, great grandchildren and will be missed by her family.
She no longer walks beside us but she will always live within our hearts.
