Peacefully at the General Hospital, with family at her side on Sunday, October 19, 2003 in her 81st year. Beloved wife of the late Emil. Loving mother of Hanna Ranta (husband Vilho), Leo (wife Toini), Esa (wife Leila), Eija Marttinen (husband Armas), Hannu (wife Doris), Heikki (wife Jeannie), Martti (wife Eva), Sisko Kysar (husband Russell), Markku (wife Diane), Seija (Sam) Lemieux (husband Jerry), Pekka (wife Anne-Mari), Effie Raisanen (husband Marvin), Edward (wife Elaine), Ingeri Hodnett (husband Terry), Lauri (wife Anni), Ruth Vhohijoki (husband Tuomo) and predeceased by Saara Vesterinen (late husband Esko), Aira Scheltens (husband Bob), Aulis (late wife Pirkko), Mikko, Seppo (wife Jean) and Vesa. Vieno will be sadly missed by her many grandchildren, great grandchildren and great great grandchildren. Dear sister of Saara Kekkonen (husband Toivo), Elsa Laitinen (husband Viljo), Tauno Partti and the late Aune Partti.
