TAILLEFER, Leo Raymond (Corporal)

The gentlest of hands and kindest of souls was laid to rest today. Our father Leo Taillefer came into this world on August 29, 1921 and left it to be by the side of his wife Marie-Reine (Madie) and his Heavenly Father on November 8, 2011 at the age of 90 at the F.J. Davey Home. Son of the late Dick and Alice Taillefer, son-in-law of George and Aurore Lauzon. Loving father to Michele, Rick (Rhonda), Denis (Theresa), Jocelyne (Phil). Grandfather to Ian (Christie), Cory (Nathalie), Margaret (Jeff), Terri-Ann (Bert), Celine (Chris), Danielle (Luc), Christopher (Sarah), Meghan (Art). Great grandfather to Jake, Bradley, Michael. Great great grandfather to Austin and Sydney. Lovingly survived by brother Paul (Lorna), sisters-in-law Marg Lauzon and Florence Telfer. Predeceased by his brothers and sisters, Ann (late Fred), Fanny (late Aimee), Jim, Joe (late Helen) and Jerry, brother-in-law of Xyste, Edouard (late Marie), Lorenzo (late Lillian), Henri (late Louise), Si (late Oliver), Laurette (late Leo), Tiny (late Rene), Rolande (late Reynolds), Bernadette, Gerard, Therese (late Sam), Jacques and Emile. He will be fondly remembered by all his nieces and nephews who have wonderful memories of Uncle Leo. Member of Royal Canadian Legion. Leo will be smiling down on all of us while fishing and cooking up a great fish fry. Friends may call at the Arthur Funeral Home & Cremation Centre on Friday, November 11, 2011 from 6 – 8 pm and on Saturday, November 12, 2011 from 1 pm until time of funeral service from the chapel at 2 pm. Memorial contributions to the Legion Poppy Trust Fund, SAH Cancer Care Fund and the Salvation Army would be appreciated by the family. Special thanks to the F.J.
