With heavy hearts, we regret to announce the passing of Karen Reta Tahti/Charrette, who graciously completed her journey and returned home, surrounded by her loving family. Loving wife of the late Murray Charrette, and daughter of the late Everett and Margaret Kennedy. Survived by her loving son Daniel Ralph Tahti, and the late Robbie Tahti. Sister of the late Shirley Diodati (late Joe), late Joan Rainone (late Sam), late Garnett Kennedy, Lois Scali, and Phyllis Jarosz (Ted). Survived by her step children Cecile Adamo (Ted), Donny Charrette (Joanne), late Darwin, Richard and Michael Charrette. Survived by many loving nieces, nephews, and grandchildren. Lifelong friends with Marlene Wood (Les), Susy Schopp (Eric), and Harris Daigle. 
 
Following Karen's wishes there will be no funeral or services, as a private family service has been held. A special thanks to staff at The Sault Area Hospital, for their loving care, and In lieu of flowers and to honor Karen's character, celebrate her life by donating online or by cheque to the Heart and Stroke Foundation.
