Unexpectedly taken from us at the age of 62. Beloved wife and best friend (and boss) of Tom Kowaleski for 37 years. Wonderful and loving mother of Brian (Jessica), Jason (Caterina), and Nicholas. Proud new grandmother of Desmond. Dear sister of Marty Szczepaniak (Rosemary) and the late Judy Szczepaniak. Predeceased by her parents Marian and Tonka Szczepaniak. Sister-in-law of Jim Kowaleski (Janet) and Karen Almas (Bill). Aunt of Ashley, Laura, Kristin, and Brad. Best friend of Elizabeth and David Fera and their family. Laura will also be missed by her uncle Mike Szczepaniak (Kathy), many cousins, and extended family. A strong woman who built her accounting practice over 35 years, the loss will be felt in the community and her profession. A funeral mass will be celebrated at St. Jerome's Parish on Friday, October 11, 2019 at 11 am. Rev. Pat Woods officiating, followed by interment at Holy Sepulchre Cemetery.
