With great sadness, the family announces the sudden death of an extremely loved Mother, Grand-Mother, and Great Grand-Mother, Ida, at SAH on Monday January 14, 2013 in her 82nd year. Dearly loved wife of the late Bill Syms, Sr. Unconditionally loved by her children, Georgie Parsons (George), Billy Jr. (Julie), Pam Osborne (Cal) and Shauna LaVoy (Warren). Forever loved Gram, of Travis and Tyler (Karly) Parsons, Eric and Mitchell Osborne, Brittany and Brandon Syms, Logan LaVoy and Taylor McAllister and Jesse DeSimone. Bestest Great-Gram of Dallas Parsons and Kole Parsons. Pre-deceased by sisters, Francis Adamo (Vincent), Mary Gallo, Rosie Gallo, Eva Sweezey (Orville) and Mamie Lemieux (Charlie). Aunt of many nieces and nephews.

Funeral mass to be celebrated from Our Lady of Good Counsel on Friday January 18, 2013 at 11am. Rev. Alex Saurianthadathil officiating. Cremation to follow.
