Passed away peacefully at the Sault Area Hospital with his family by his side on Wednesday, July 18, 2007 at the age of 60 years. Beloved husband of Marion. Loving father of Michael, Chantal, Larry (Christy). Grandfather of Ciara, Mollaina, Bryce and Rocco. Predeceased by his parents Jacqueline and Oliver. Dear brother of Andre (Roseanne), Jack, Suzanne, Diane, Chantal Dinelle (Ron). Gilbert will be fondly remembered by his 12 nieces and nephews. Friends may call at the Northwood Funeral Home (942 Great Northern Road 945-7758) on Friday evening from 6 - 9 p.m. A memorial service will be held in the chapel on Saturday, July 21, 2007 at 1:00 p.m. Memorial donations to the Sault Area Hospital Foundation would be appreciated by the family.
