Peacefully at Vancouver General Hospital on Saturday, November 1, 2008 at the age of 68 years. Husband and best friend to his wife Jean. Predeceased by his loving parents Angeline and Thomas Sweeney. Brother to John (Patti), Raymond (Rosemarie), Mary McMinn (Gary), Gloria Lay of Sault Ste. Marie, Rose Sweeney of Ottawa, Louise Jean (late Bob) of Marquette, MI, Anna Sweeney of Mississauga and Danny (Jane) of Toronto. Uncle and great uncle to many nieces and nephews. A memorial service to be arranged at a later date at the request of the family. Memorial donations made to the Ontario Heart & Stroke Foundation would be appreciated by the family.
