STRUM, Mr Ernest Leonard

Peacefully at Algoma Manor on Monday June 1, 2009. Ernest Strum, formerly of Bruce Mines in his 78th year, beloved husband of Margaret Strum for 56 years. Loving father of Edward (Christa) of Thessalon, Leonard (Janet) of Echo Bay, Garnet (Edna) of Wawa, Peggy McDonald, Ronald, and Carol Rickard (Phillip) all of Bruce Mines, Mary Lou Belisle (Daniel) of Rydal Bank, Barbara Strum (David Bernie) of Timmins and Darrel (Julie) of Desbarats. Special grandfather to 23 grandchildren and 22 great grandchildren. Dear brother of Merritt (Pat) of Bruce Mines, John of Sault Ste. Marie, Donald of Sudbury, Micky (Betty) of Bruce Mines and the late Albert, Geraldine, Edith, Bernice, Lorne, and Ralph. Also survived by numerous nieces and nephews. Resting at the Beggs Funeral Home, Thessalon where friends may call on Wednesday June 3, 2009 from 7 to 9pm and at the Bruce Mines United Church on Thursday June 4 from 1pm until time of service at 2 o’clock. Interment in The Sands Cemetery. Donations to the Diabetes Society or the Arthritis Society gratefully accepted.
