At home in Yuba City, California on Wednesday, September 13, 2006 at the age of 90. Preceeded by her husband Stanley G. Strasser. Loving mother of Barbara Paterson of Yuba City, California, Beverley Amick and husband Steve Amick of Kingman, Arizona. Survived by four grandchildren and 7 great grandchildren. Also survived by 2 sisters and one brother all of Southern Ontario. Dorothy was an R.N. and nursed at both the Plummer and General Hospitals. She was a member of John Street United Church and participated in the Tucabatche mission group that met for many years. She also was a member of the Tarentorus United Church. Stan and Dorothy moved from the Sault to Southern California in 1964. Memorial services are planned for Alta Loma, California on Friday Sept. 29, 2006. Inurnment will be in Auburn, Ontario Canada.
