STINSON, Richard Rea - It is with profound sadness that we announce the passing of Richard. He was born on February 10,1945 in Haliburton, Ontario and passed away peacefully on Tuesday January 23, 2024 at the Sault Area Hospital.
He was the loving and devoted husband of Leslie (Sharpe, Doucette). Father of Tolbert (Dawn), Tim and Trevor (Jen). Stepfather of Samantha, Justin (Alicia), Stephen (Kristen), and Nikki (Mike). Grandfather of Aaron (Chrystal), Caleb (Jess), Emily (Doug), Rebecca, Caitlyn and Alexis. Papa of Breanna, Chase, Nicholas and Sophie. Great grandpa of Rosalie, Evelyn, Alyssa and Charlie. Brother of Michael (late Nancy). Son of the late Rea and Lorna Stinson. Richard leaves behind his loving pet Sadie.
Richard loved to putter around the yard, doing odd jobs and working in his vegetable garden. He also was an avid reader.

At Richard's request there will be no service. A private gathering will be held at a later date for family. Memorial contributions (payable by cheque or online) to the Sault Ste.
