Passed away tragically as a result of a motor vehicle accident on Monday, April 8, 2024 at the age of 29. Cherished son of Jason and Paula Bruzas and Keith and Natalie Stewart. Proud grandson of Calvin and Carole Conway, Vern and the late Karen Zwirner, Keith and the late Susan Stewart, Fern Young and by his great grandmother the late Ruby Conway. Cherished Father of Zaxtyn, Gracelyn and Calvin. Dear brother of Keith Stewart, Kara Bruzas (Jason Lanthier), Jeremy Kennedy and Jamie Stewart. Uncle of Noah, Skyla, Zariah, Elijah Bruzas and Zavier Stewart. Loved nephew to many aunts and uncles, but especially Kerrilyn Conway (Chad Laroue) and Peter Conway.

Lifelong best friend of Dustin Spin who will always be a part of our family. Brendan had the biggest smile and an infectious laugh that made you laugh with him. He fiercely loved his family and would do anything for them and for his friends. One of the most important people in his life was his grandpa Conway that he spent years installing windows, working on cars, going to camp or just hanging out. Brendan grew up playing soccer, bowling, BMX, bikes and especially enjoyed cars.

Brendan was unbelievably close with his siblings, Keith Stewart and Kara Bruzas. He never hesitated to be there for them when they needed him and even when they didn’t he just enjoyed hanging out. He loved his nieces and nephews with all his heart and they will miss him dearly. Special thanks to the first responders and staff at the Sault Area Hospital. A celebration of life will take place at the Echo Bay Elks Hall on Saturday, April 20, 2024 from 1 - 4 pm. Memorial contributions (payable online or by cheque) to a charity of your choice would be appreciated. Arrangements entrusted to the Arthur Funeral Home - Barton & Kiteley Chapel (492 Wellington Street E. 705-759-2522). Fond memories and expressions of sympathy may be shared at www.arthurfuneralhome.com for the family.
