Peacefully at the F.J. Davey Home on Monday, November 2, 2009 in her 87th year. Beloved wife of the late Glen. Loving mother of Richard (Sheila) and Irene Dempsey (Daniel). Cherished grandmother of Rick (Angie), Mike (Tammy) and Kevin Stephney, Brandy Glynn (Joe), Cody and Kristie Alexander. Great grandmother of 7. Dear sister of Bambie, Irma, late Frank, Adeline and Ernie. Loving aunt of Joe Damerino (Lisa). A celebration of Velia's life was held on Tuesday, November 3, 2009 at the Arthur Funeral Home & Cremation Centre. Interment Greenwood Cemetery.
