STEPHEN/Spadoni, Patricia

Posted

Peacefully at rest, after 71/2 years of unshakeable tenacity and endurance on Friday, February 27, 2004. Beloved mother, protector and moral support of Deborah Van Scoy (Billy), Cynthia Zalewski (Chris), Stephen Spadoni (Lee-Ann) and Alan Spadoni (Carrie). Cherished grandmother of Kasey, Ryan, Adam, Alex, Taylor and Angus. Sister of Gordon Stephen (Leona). Rescuer and guardian to Kiwi. Special friend of Carolyn Zalewski and Sharon Farrell. Predeceased by her mother Marie Stephen who she loved and cared for all her life. Patricia never allowed her last great obstacle to affect her lifestyle or focus. She carried on by faith and her belief that she simply preferred to be in the land of the living. There are too many friends and relatives of kindness to list so we hope all those who have supported us in this walk will know that you are forever in our gratitude. Special appreciation must be given however to Dr. Spadafora who’s trusted guidance and direction did more for all of us over the years then she will ever know. We also thank Dr. Walde, Dr. Grosso, Dr. Fratesi, Dr. Reich, the staff of the Palliative Care Unit as will as Shari Kowalyk and Louann Blahey for their compassion and patience. Friends may call at the Arthur Funeral Home and Cremation Centre on Sunday, February 29, 2004 from 6-9 p.m. Funeral mass to be celebrated at Precious Blood Cathedral on Monday, March 1, 2004 at 11 a.m. Rev. Bernard Burns officiating. Interment West Korah Cemetery. Memorial contributions to the Precious Blood Cathedral Memorial Fund, The Humane Society or to the Palliative Care Unit would be appreciated.
