January 21, 1941 – March 26, 2024
We are saddened to announce the gentle passing of our beloved Mum, Nana, great grandmother, mother-in-law and sister-in-law at Algoma Manor, in her 84th year.
Sheila is joyfully reunited with her husband Douglas (d.2012), her son David (d.2018) (Ruth), her parents John and Agnes McEwan and her siblings. Loving Mum of Fiona MacGillivray (John). Proud Nana of Jessie Thomas (Rob), Heather Stephen and Alexis MacGillivray and great grandmother of Rory Thomas. Will be missed by her brother-in-law Allan Stephen (Sheena). Fondly remembered by nieces, nephews, cousins and friends in Scotland and Canada.
Sheila was born in Scotland. Sheila and Douglas immigrated to Canada in 1966 for a better life. Sheila loved Jesus, family, animals, her friends and a “wee cup of tea and a piece in jam”.
