STEPATH, Lothar (Louie)

With family by his side, at the F.J. Davey Home.  Louie passed away on Thursday, January 12, 2012.  Devoted husband of Hanne for 53 years.  Beloved Dad of Ron (Sherry) and Bea Fioramanti (Douglas), little brother of Jurgen (Sybille) of Germany.  Louie had a passion for being active and enjoyed sailing and bicycling.  He sailed all of the Great Lakes and participated in the Trans Superior Race.  His struggle with Alzheimer Disease is now over and he is now at peace with smooth seas, the wind at his back, and the sun warming his face.  At Louie’s request  there will be no funeral service.  If desired, memorial donations may be made to the Alzheimer Society or the YMCA.  The family would like to thank the staff at the Davey Home for their compassionate care.  Arrangements entrusted to Northwood Funeral Home Cremation & Reception Centre (942 Great Northern Road 705-945-7758).  www.northwoodfuneral.com
