Passed away at the F.J. Davey Home on March 21, 2024, at the age of 81.

Dear son of Jeanne and Joseph St.Eloi, both predeceased.

Cherished husband of Louise Helene St.Eloi (recently predeceased) for 59 years, loved father of Michael Stephen St.Eloi (Luisa Martone), and adored grandfather of Marc Andrew St.Eloi. 

Brother to Robert St.Eloi (Glenda Zuker), Linda Dumas (Yves Dumas) and the late Debra Ducharme.

Brother-in-law of the late Micheline Welk (Percy Welk), and Denise Cote (late Herbert Loeper).

Adored uncle to Andrée St.Eloi-Chartrand (Rémy Chartrand), Danielle Dumas-Grenier (Chris Grenier), Sylvie Dumas-Leduc (Roch Leduc), Eric Ducharme, Camile Ducharme (Kim Ducharme), Dan Welk (Cecile Beaulne-Welk) and Jamie Welk.

Clarence will be remembered for his work as an elementary educator and principal with the Separate School Board for 33 years.  Thank you to the staff for all their support over the years.

Clarence has joined his wife Louise, their past pets, the ongoing class reunion and many golf courses over the Rainbow Bridge and on the other side.

Very special thanks to all the staff at the F.J. Davey Home. In particular, the staff on Birch Wing, Third Floor, including nurses Kerri and Claire. We very much appreciate the attention and care shown to Clarence during his time at the F.J. Davey Home.

There will be no formal funeral service and cremation has taken place. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations (made payable by cheque or online) to Alzheimer Society Sault Ste. Marie & Algoma District or the Sault Ste. Marie Humane Society be greatly appreciated by the family.
