Carmela Spadafora passed away at the General Hospital on Thursday, March 13, 2003 at the age of 75 years. Beloved wife of the late Natale Spadafora. Dear mother of Maria Coccimiglio (Geniale), Yolanda Carpinelli (Tony), Tony Spadafora (Rosetta) of St. Catharines and Luigi Spadafora. Grandmother of Ricky Coccimiglio (Lisa), Gina Coccimiglio (Cindy), Chris Carpinelli (Anna), Joanna Carpinelli (friend Donald), Gregory Carpinelli, Natalie Spadafora, Nicholas Spadafora and Matthew Spadafora. Great grandmother of Maria Anna Coccimiglio. Sister of the late Marianna DiLeo (late Antonio), Emilio Tignanelli (Assunta) all of Italy, Julia Tignanelli (late Luigi) and Cesira Tignanelli (Tony) all of North Bay. Fondly remembered by many nieces and nephews. Friends may call at the Northwood Funeral Home (942 Great Northern Road 945-7758) on Friday evening from 7 to 9 p.m. Funeral Mass at St. Gregory's Church on Saturday, March 15 at 11:00 a.m. with Reverend Victor Amadio officiating. Entombment at the Holy Sepulchre Cemetery Mausoleum. Memorial donations made to the Diabetes Association or to the Ontario Heart & Stroke Foundation would be appreciated by the family.
