SNIDER, George Edward

Forever in our hearts. George passed away with
family by his side on Thursday, January 29, 2009 in his 90th year. George has gone to join his beloved wife Doris (January 7, 2008). 'Dad' to Jack Hill (Earla) and Sandra Faiola (late Leo) of Toronto. 'Poppa' to Dean Hill
of Toronto and Curt Hill (Jade Mollerup) of Vancouver, Tanya Groves (Barry) and Doug Faiola (Gail) both of Toronto. Poppa George to several great and great-great grandchildren. Dear brother of Dorothy Kerr (late Robert) of Manitoba, Phillip (Mary) of Ottawa and predeceased by two brothers Victor and William. Brother-in-law to Stella Comer (Charlie Erlitz) of Amery, WI. Special uncle to several neices and nephews. George was a Troop Sergeant in
the First Special Services Force (The Devil's Brigade) 1941-1946. At George's request there will be no funeral services. Cremation entrusted to the Northwood Funeral Home (942 Great Northern Roadd 945-7758). Memorial
donations made to Sault Area Hospital or charity of your choice would be appreciated by the family. Thank you to Dr. P. Chow for his care.
