Thomas Arthur Snell passed away at the age of 76 on Monday, December 23, 2002 at St. Joseph's Hospital in Sudbury as a result of a fall. Loving husband and best friend of Jean (Lizotte). Son of the late Alma and Thomas Snell Sr. Son-in-law of the late Ellen and George Speers. A devoted father to Mark (Cathy) and Marsha Wright (Bruce). Much loved stepfather of Debbie Onraet (Dave), Susan Rogers (Larry), Gerald Lizotte, Kathy Brauer (Kevin), Norma Lizotte (Brian Luck) and Nancy Daigle (Reg). Grandfather of 12 and great grandfather of 3. Dear brother of Laurene Neal (Don). Fondly remembered by his sitters and brothers-in-law. Tom was a lifetime member and Past-president of the Royal Canadian Legion, Branch 25. He was also involved in the Royal Canadian Legion Marching Band and the Colour Party. Tom was the driving force in developing the seniors program that included the Diamond Jubilee Band, The Country Gentlemen Western Band and Carpet Bowling. Tom retired from Algoma Steel after 40 years. Friend
