SMITH, William (Bill)

Born November 8, 1928, died May 28, 2004, formerly of Sault Ste. Marie, Ontario. Passed away peacefully with his beloved wife Bernadette of 52 years by his side. Loving father of Bill (Roxanne), Angela (Dave), Patrick (Sandy), Isabel Irvine (late David), Thomas (late Elaine), Maureen (Dave), Gerard (Kathy Jo), Bernadette (Pat), Kieran, Brian (Ruth) and David (Patti). Much loved grandpa of 18 grandchildren. Loving brother of Marie (Joe), Paul (Shirley) of the Sault. William also has many brothers and sisters in Belfast, Northern Ireland, and will be missed by many nieces and nephews. He was a business agent for the local Painter’s Union, in the early 80’s and was a kind-hearted loving man with a great sense of humour. Loved dearly by all who met him. Service for William will take place in Brampton, Ontario at St. Andrew’s Funeral Home on Dixie Road on Tuesday June 1st, 2004 at 10:00 a.m.
