Peacefully at home on Wednesday, April 20, 2011 at the age of 58. Devoted and loving father of Allison Aho (Brian) of Ohio. Son of Patricia (late Victor) Smith. Dear brother of Michael Smith (Carole), Colleen Nolan, Victoria Ryan (Gerry) of Edmonton and Timothy Smith of Vancouver. Predeceased by his sister Catherine Johnson (Rick) and brother Daniel. He is survived by many nieces and nephews. Patrick was involved in many things in his short life, most recently running for alderman for Ward 4, Chairman of the 1993 Air Canada Regional Midget Championship and Chairman of the 1987 Purolator Cup for the All-Ontario Bantam Championship. He will be sadly missed by all who knew him. At Patrick's request there will be no visitation or funeral service. Service time and date for family and close friends will be announced at a later date by the Arthur Funeral Home & Cremation Centre 705-759-2522. Patrick volunteered at the soup kitchen on a daily basis. Memorial contributions can be made on his behalf to the Soup Kitchen or the Heart and Stroke Foundation.
