Peacefully in the Palliative Care Unit of the Sault Area Hospital on Tuesday July 8,
2008. George Smith in his 90th year, husband of the late Olive Beilhartz. Loving
father of Ronald Smith (Betty-Jean) of Bruce Mines. Special grandfather to Naomi
Buehrle (Matt) of Chicago,Heidi Smith of Oshawa and great grandfather to Samuel,
Benjamin and Luke Buehrle. Dear brother of Jean Hoult (late Bob) of Mississauga
and the late Ross Smith (Marge) of Grand Rapids and Robert Smith (Jeanne) of St
Catharines. Also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.? Resting at the Beggs
Funeral Home, Thessalon where friends may call on Thursday July 10, 2008 from 7-9pm
and at Bruce Mines United Church on Friday July 11 from 12:30pm until time of
service at 2:30pm.? Interment in Cloudslee Cemetery.? Special thanks to the staff of
Palliative Care at the Sault Area Hospital for the excellent care that George
