May Smith went to be with the Lord on Wednesday, May 28, 2003 at he age of 97. Beloved wife of the late Ray Smith. Loving mother of Agnes Sarlo (late Howdy) of Sault Ste. Marie, May Thornton (Don) of Falconbridge, Joan Langstaff (late Benny) & friend Mel of Onaping Falls and the late Clifford Smith (wife Janet) of Sudbury. Cherished grandmother of 16, great grandmother of 31 and great great grandmother of 11. Nana to Mae Filipowicz (late John) and their son Bob. Predeceased by 2 sisters Cecelia Shepherd and Agnes Bernard, 2 brothers Herb McHarrie and Jim McHarrie. Aunt to Herbie Shepherd. Friends may call at the Arthur Funeral Home & Cremation Centre on Friday, May 30 from 6:00 to 9:00 p.m. The funeral service will be held in the chapel on Saturday, May 31 at 10:00 a.m. with Mr. Bruce Cain officiating.
