It is with great sadness that the family of Dr. Harold Mackenzie (Mac) Smith (D.V.M.) announce his passing on Wednesday, April 5, 2006 at the age of 81. Mac died peacefully and with dignity at his home in Napanee with family by his side. Beloved husband and best friend of Hilda. Dear father of David Smith (Susan) of Pembroke; Donald Smith (Shelagh) of Kingston; Deborah Stone (David) of Sault Ste. Marie and chosen father of David Smith of Mississauga. Loving grandfather of Andrea and Michael Stone of Sault Ste. Marie. A funeral was held at Napanee on Saturday, April 8, 2006. Memorial donations made through the Northwood Funeral Home (945-7758) to the Lennox and Addington County Hospital Foundation, Napanee, Ontario would be appreciated by the family.
