SMITH, Lenard Felix (November 10, 1932 – August 6, 2013)

Peacefully at Extendicare Maple View Nursing Home.  Beloved husband of Doreen (nee Roberts) for 56 years.  Dear father of Beverly McLeod (Pat) and Arnold Smith (Auralee).  Grandfather of Steven and Jamie McLeod, Howard (Lori), Brittany and Courtney Vezina.  Great grandfather of Alyson, Elizabeth and Logan Vezina.  Son of the late Nester and Olivia Smith.  Son-in-law of the late James and Doris Roberts.  Brother of Harold (Sally) and predeceased by Leander (late Yvone), Sigrid Leslie (late Logan) and Esther Bellefeuille (late Alfonse).  Brother-in-law of Gerald Roberts (Violet).  Fondly remembered by his many nieces and nephews.  Family and friends may call at the Arthur Funeral Home & Cremation Centre on Saturday, August 10, 2013 from11 am to 12:30 pm.  Funeral service to be held in the chapel at 1 pm.  Interment Maple Ridge Cemetery.  Memorial contributions to the Alzheimer Society would be greatly appreciated.  The family would like to extend a heartfelt thanks to the nurses and staff of Extendicare Maple View Nursing Home for their care and compassion.  Expressions of sympathy may be offered at www.arthurfuneralhome.com
