Peacefully at the Algoma Manor on Saturday, May 13, 2006 at the age of 77. Son of the late L. G. and Henrietta (MacDonald) Smith. Brother of Corine Evoy (late Donald), Barbara Hanshar (late Paul) and the late Ione Hurley (late Albert). He will be sadly missed by his many nieces and nephews. Friends may call at the Arthur Funeral Home & Cremation Centre on Thursday, May 18, 2006 from 11 am until time of funeral service in the chapel at 1 pm. Mrs. Helen Smith officiating. Interment Port Findlay Cemetery. Memorial contributions to the Algoma Manor or the Canadian Diabetes Association would be appreciated by the family. Lachlan’s family would like to acknowledge the wonderful care he received at Algoma Manor.
