Passed away suddenly July 9th 2022 at London Health Sciences Centre in his 66th year.
Beloved son of the late George and Ena Smith. Loving father of Christine Smith. Dearest brother of Cathie James, (late) Hilary Randall, and Susan Dennie. Special uncle to Matthew, Devon, Alison and Paige and great uncle to Landon and Aleksander. He will be missed by his extended family and friends, both near and far, and the community at St. Andrew’s Presbyterian Church. Chuck was born and raised in Sault Ste. Marie but made Sarnia his home. Chuck will be remembered as the life of any party, a constant source of humour, and someone who always leant a helping hand. Anyone who came to know Chuck will have a fond memory to cherish and a story to tell. He was larger than life and we will treasure the good times. There will be no funeral service held but a celebration of life will take place in Sault Ste. Marie, Ontario at a later date.
