Passed away peacefully with her family by her side at the Algoma Residential Community Hospice on Tuesday, September 24, 2013 at the age of 69. Beloved wife of Ken for 48 years. Loved mother of Shari Smale, Wade Smale (Maxine) and the late Kenny. Dear grandmother of Mitchell, Samantha and Brendan Case and Carrie-Lynne Smale. Daughter of the late Stanley and Lillian Simons. Sister of Emily Duplin (late Paul), Harold Simons (Linda), Judi Dukes (Brian), Raymond Simons (Angelika) and Brenda Rogers (Dave). Niece of Florence Church (late Bill). Daughter-in-law of the late Jack and Helen Smale. Sister-in-law of Carol Gemme (Maurice), Valerie Harron, Herb Smale (Sheila), John Smale (Lucille) and Lynne DeLavalle. Remembered by many nieces, nephews and cousins. Friends may call at the Arthur Funeral Home & Cremation Centre on Saturday, September 28, 2013 from 1 – 4 pm. In respecting Marion’s wishes, a funeral service will not be held. Memorial contributions to the Algoma Residential Community Hospice (ARCH) would be appreciated by the family.
