Peacefully at Hospice Renfrew, on Saturday December 31, 2022, William Robert Slater, age 83 years. Beloved husband of Helen Tomlinson. Dear father of Bill (Anne), Sault St. Marie, Ruth (Norman) Vaile, Renfrew, Lisa (Brad) King, Edmonton, Alberta. Pre-deceased by grand daughter Emma. Dear grandfather of Kyle, Cameron, Graham, Joshua, Zechariah, Talitha, Nekoda, Chloe, Christian, Adra and Nigel. Great grandfather of Ezra, Arlo, Camreigh, Lillian, Harvey, and Marvin. Survived by his sister Velma (Jack) Perron.
Visitation will be held at the Elmwood Gospel Chapel, 200 Francis St., Renfrew, on Tuesday January 10th from 3 until service at 4 p.m. followed by a luncheon.
