It is with very deep sorrow that we announce the death of Karl on Saturday, February 9, 2008 at the Extendicare Tendercare at the age of 73 years. Dearly beloved husband of Ann. Loving father of Carla Simon (Gary Andrusiek) and Tania Simon. Son of the late Karol and Rosalia Simon. Dear brother of the late late Mary (late Joe Ribic), late Herbert (late Shirley), Rose (Lino) Pistor, Stan (Rosalie), George, Virginia Ford, Joseph, Bernadette (Roy) Hilderley, Janis (Walter) Schnablegger all of Sault Ste. Marie. Brother-in-law of the late Joan Gallipeau. Karl will be fondly remembered by his many nieces and nephews. There will be no visitation. Friends are invited to attend a funeral service in the Chapel of the Northwood Funeral Home (942 Great Northern Road 945-7758) on Wednesday, February 13, 2008 at 2:00 p.m. with Reverend Eric Pannike officiating. Cremation to follow. Memorial donations made to the Ontario Heart & Stroke Foundation or the Canadian Cancer Society would be appreciated by the family. Karl was a devoted husband, father and dear brother. Our cherished memories will keep him in our hearts, our thoughts and our prayers until we all meet again.
