Peacefully at the General Hospital on Wednesday, February 25, 2004 at the age of 85. Beloved wife of the late John Simms. Loving mother of Ken, Terry (Mary Lynn) and Gary (Lorraine). Cherished grandma of Sherry Longo (Frank), Jamie Simms, Adam Simms, Jody Simms (Corrina), Marnie Fisher (John), Samantha Seabrook (Stephen), Derek Simms (Carrie), Sara Simms and Melissa Simms. Great grandmother of 10. Dear sister of Lorna Dion (late Joe), Joe Phillips (Evelyn) and predeceased by Eleanor, Dorothy, Clara, Verna and Tom. Bernice will be sadly missed by many nieces and nephews. A private funeral was held at the Barton and Kiteley Funeral Home and Cremation Centre on Friday, February 27, 2004 at 1 p.m. Rev. Phil Miller officiated. Interment Greenwood Cemetery. Memorial contributions to the SAH Cancer Clinic would be appreciated.
