(August 10, 1935 – July 30, 2011) – Peacefully passed away at the FJ Davey Home on Saturday, July 30, 2011 at the age of 75. Beloved husband and best friend of Lorraine (MacKenzie). Loving father of Jennifer Silk (mother late Doris) (fiancé Josh Valade), Andrew Silk (mother Mimi) (wife Bridget Indelicato) and Scott Silk (mother Mimi) (wife Angie). Much respected and loved stepfather of Susan Colasacco (Sandy) and Sean Discher (Connie). Adoring grandfather of Grayson and Jakson. Grandpa of MacKenzie, Daniel, Rachel, Justin and Myla. Great grandfather of two. Dear brother of Margaret Lyness (late Dick), late Dorothy Lowe (late Grant, late Tom), Orley Silk (late Lila) and Howard Silk (Leona). Predeceased by his parents George and Evelyn Silk. Brother-in-law of Dorothy Bourgeois (Norman), June Parlow (Randy), Fred MacKenzie (Donna) and Jane Viennau (Brian). Also survived by many nieces and nephews. Friends may call at the Arthur Funeral Home & Cremation Centre on Tuesday, August 2, 2011 from 6 – 9 pm.
