Peacefully in his 100th year at Seven Oaks Home for the Aged in Scarborough on Monday, August 23, 2004, 77 year member of the Masonic Lodge. Formerly of Sault Ste. Marie where he was teacher and principal at Sault Technical and Commercial High School for 35 years. Predeceased by his beloved wife Eleanor (Elliot) Shearer. Dear father of Andrene Hull (Jim) of Dallas, Texas and Fred (Jane) of Scarborough. Loving “Pop” to six grandchildren and seven great grandchildren. Following cremation, a Memorial Service will be held at the Arthur Funeral Home in Sault Ste. Marie on Saturday, September 11, at 10 a.m. In lieu of flowers, donations to the Heart and Stroke Foundation or your favourite charity would be appreciated.
