SEVERIN, Peter Manfred “Fred”

With great sorrow we are very saddened to say that Manfred Severin has passed away on Tuesday, February 28, 2012 at the age of 77. He was born in Köln, Germany on July 22_^nd, 1934.  He will be greatly missed by his son Michael Severin, beloved daughter Karin Severin and grandsons Josh and Jarek.  Husband of the late Mary Severin and Barbara Saylor.  Manfred leaves behind his very close friend Joanna Roth.  He will be greatly missed and not forgotten by all of his close friends in the Soo, Germany.  Manfred loved the outdoors, hockey and biking with the Sault Cycling Club and was a dedicated volunteer at the Sault Area Hospital. Friends and family are invited to a Celebration of Manfred’s Life at Northwood Funeral Home Cremation & Reception Centre (942 Great Northern Road 705-945-7758) on Friday, March 2, 2012 from 5:30 p.m. until time of sharing at 8:00 p.m.  Memorial donations to the Canadian Cancer Society or Sault Area Hospital would be appreciated by the family. www.northwoodfuneral.com
