Peacefully, surrounded by her family at the Sault Area Hospital General Site on Saturday, August 15, 2009. Reta Serbin of Thessalon in her 86th year, beloved wife of Michael Serbin for 48 years and the late Mack McKinnon.
Loving mother Donna Scheuermann (late Bill) of Thessalon, Garry McKinnon (Paulette) of Sault Ste. Marie, Deloris Howe (George) of Ottawa, Howard McKinnon of Thessalon, Debbie McKinnon ( Mac Ross ) of Ottawa, Mary Lee Rawn
(Ken) of Whitby and Brenda Serbin (Robin Tripp) of Dundalk. Special grandmother to 12 grandchildren and 9 great grandchildren. Dear sister of the late Bertha Jeffery, James Grexton, Earl Grexton, Norma Cooper, and Vern Grexton. Dear sister-in-law of Stella Gilbert and Jenny Viitala both of Thunder Bay, Victoria Reeves of Winnipeg, Brownie of Thunder Bay and the the Joe and Helen. Also survived by numerous nieces and nephews. Resting at the Beggs Funeral Home, Thessalon where friends may call on Wednesday August 19, 2009 from 7:15 to 9pm. 20, 2009 at 1 o'clock. Interment in Pine Grove Cemetery. Donations to Thessalon Hospital, Cystic Fibrosis foundation or the charity of your choice gratefully accepted. Members of Elizabeth Rebekah Lodge #339, Thessalon are requested to assemble at the funeral home on Wednesday at 7pm for a memorial service for their late sister Rea Serbin.
