(October 23, 1916 - December 30, 2008) - In the presence of his loving family, Luigi peacefully passed away at the F. J. Davey Home. He was the beloved husband of Giulia for 65 years. Dear father of Eugenio (predeceased), Claude (Marisa) and Josie Quesnel (Roger). Very devoted nonno of Mark and Marty. Born in Aiello, Calabria, Luigi was the dear son of the late Luigi and Rosaria. Dear brother of the late Salvatore (late Angela), late Chiara Guidocci (late Vincenzo), late Francesco (Ortenzia) and the late Teresa Medaglia (late Vittorio). Son-in-law of the late Philippo and Angela Rossi. He was the brother-in-law of Rita Mannarino (late Nicola), Emilia Coccimiglio (late Vincenzo), Elvira Padula (late Giuseppe), late Vincenzo Rossi (Ida), Rosa Longo (Camillo), Francesca Borsano (late Agostino), Michelina Rossi and Frank Rossi (late Fiorina). He will be missed by his many nieces, nephews and friends in Canada, Italy, France and Germany. Friends and family may visit at the Northwood Funeral Home (942 Great Northern Road 945-7758) on Saturday, January 3, 2009 from 10:00 a.m. until time of funeral service in the Chapel at 12:00 noon. Entombment at Holy Sepulchre Cemetery Mausoleum. Memorial donations made to the F. J. Davey Home Residents Council would be appreciated by the family.
