Passed away peacefully with her family by her side on Tuesday October 28, 2003 at the age of 78 years. Cherished and beloved wife of James for 56 years. Loving mother of Tony (Brenda), Jay (Judy), Dawn Zollner (Steve) of Athens, Tennessee and predeceased by her son Paul. Beloved Nana of Krista Morgenstern (Mark), Tricia, Mark (Jill), Paula, Jennifer and Andrea Scornaiencki, and Kurt and Candice Zollner. Great Nana of Hanna Scornaiencki and Megan Morgenstern. Dear sister of Herbert McEwen, Jim McEwen (Audrey), Edith Sullivan (late Jerry), Vonnie Abessinio (late Danny), late Marie Alessandrini (Eric), late Dawn and Bob Brown and the late Kaye Chisolm (Jim). Sister-in-law of the late Edith and Max Belsito, late Louis and Velma Scornaiencki, late Delena and Art Esposti, late Julia Talarico (Sonny), late Ellen Carpenelli (Sonny), and the late Mary and Tony Renzini. Aunt of many nieces and nephews. Irene’s family would like to thank the staff of the Van Daele Manor for the loving care they showed during her stay.
