Peacefully at home and surrounded by family on October 18th, 2020 at the age of 52. Survived by her husband Shane Schwantz, her son Rob Figures, and her dog Max. Dearly missed by her brother Dan Cardiff (Rachel) of Troy, Michigan, her mother Evelyn Cardiff and stepfather Jim Kiviaho of Gore Bay, and her stepsister Leslie Chiarelli (Ryan) of Deep River. Special niece to Katharine and Leroy Taylor of Nova Scotia. Predeceased by her father Edward Cardiff. Whether as a niece, cousin, or aunt, Mary will be dearly missed by her extended family, and special condolences go out to her nephew Nathan and niece Miranda at this difficult time. Our sincere thanks to Mary's friends and co-workers at Kelly's Professional Family Hair Care for their compassion and understanding in the past few years, as well as all who cared for her at Sault Area Hospital, ParaMed, and the Group Health Centre. At Mary's request, there will be no public services, with interment to take place at a later date.
