Peacefully at the General Hospital, with his wife by his side on Wednesday, March 22, 2006 in his 74th year. Beloved and devoted husband of over 52 years to Cecilia. Loving father of George (Joan), Gary (Mary-Anne) and Gene (Kim). Proud grandfather of Jamie, Derek, Shannon, Taylor, Brendon, Jacob, Sarah and Katie. Eugene is survived by his brother Theo (Maria) of Germany. A funeral mass will be celebrated from St. Jerome’s Catholic Church on Monday, March 27, 2006 at 11 am. Rev. Hamish Currie officiating. Interment Holy Sepulchre Cemetery. Memorial contributions to the Heart & Stroke Foundation would be appreciated by the family.
