SCHABER, Mrs. Ruth Ada (nee Brock)

January 3, 1906 to January 6, 2006. Just after her 100th birthday celebration, Ruth Schaber passed away peacefully on the evening of January 6th, 2006, in St. Boniface General Hospital, Winnipeg Manitoba. Ruth spent most of her life in Oshawa, Ontario. In 1998, she moved to Iron Bridge, Ontario to live with her nephew Basil Brock, and his wife Evelyn. She spent the last 2 years of her life at the Pieper home in Ste. Anne Manitoba. Ruth touched the hearts of those she met with her love and generosity. She is loved by all her family and friends and will be sadly missed. Resting at the Beggs Funeral Home, Thessalon where friends may call on Thursday, January 12, 2006 from 7:00 to 9:00 p.m. Funeral service at the Seventh Day Adventist Church, Iron Bridge on Friday January 13th at 2:00 o'clock. Spring interment in Bellingham Cemetery.
