SCARFONE, Michael Joseph Anthony "MJ" (December 16, 1942 - August 12, 2023) - Unexpectedly at home on Saturday in his 81st year.
Beloved husband of Heather. Loving and caring father of Laurie Rankin (forever his Punky). Predeceased by his parents Michael and Mona Scarfone. Brother-in-law of Carol (the late Tom Caswell), Jane (Don Doucette) and Kathy (Peter Burry). Uncle of Jackie. Missed by many friends, cousins, nieces, nephews and family.
Honoured daddy to Miss Maggie.
An avid fisherman and winner of many derbies around Lake Superior, from Lake Nipigon to Mackinaw. Proud Captain of the Wizzy Woo Woo II, his prized vessel and known for his polished cowboy boots and shiny 4x4 trucks, cruising down Queen Street.
A true West End boy who grew up in and loved Sault Ste. Marie. A good friend and beautiful heart; vocal with a real lust for life and lived it his way!
