Alex Sarno passed away suddenly at his daughter's home on Tuesday, October 29, 2002 at the age of 68 years. Beloved husband of Angelina. Dear father of Rose Fletcher (Robert), Eva Hanes (Mike) and Lena Madaglia (Robert) Grandfather of Melanie, Carley and Jason Fleischer, Christopher and Bradley Hanes, Mary, Robbie and Alex Madaglia. Brother of Vito Sarno (Geraldine), Maria Garofano (Silvo) and the late Mike Sarno (late Carmela). Friends may call at the Northwood Funeral Home (942 Great Northern Road, 945-7758) on Saturday, November 2 from 9:00 a.m. until 11:00 a.m. Then the Funeral Mass will be celebrated at St. Gregory's Church at 11:30 a.m. with Rev. Victor Amadio officiating. Entombment at the Holy Sepulchre Mausoleum. The family would appreciate memorial donations made to the Ontario Heart & Stroke Foundation.
