SARLO, John (“Johnnie”) - (July 1, 1925- November 10,2019) - Peacefully at the Algoma Residential Community Hospice, our dear Dad went to be with his Lord and Saviour.
Beloved husband and best friend to (late Olga) of 50 years (1997). Much loved father of Philip, Valerie Lidstone (Graham). Loving Papa to Nathan and Brandon Sarlo. Dear brother of Florence Filipetti (late Len). Predeceased by his parents Antonio and Assunta Sarlo, his brothers late Albert, (late Dora), late Hugo (late Dora), late Ernie (late Mickey), and late sister Eda Sarlo. Dear uncle to many nieces and nephews.
Friends may visit at the Arthur Funeral Home - Barton & Kiteley Chapel (492 Wellington St. East 705-759-2522) on Thursday, November 14, 2019 from 11:30 am until 1:30 pm. Funeral service in the chapel at 2 pm . Interment at Greenwood Cemetery. In lieu of flowers memorial contributions payable by cheque to SAH Renal Dialysis Unit, Bethel Bible Chapel Building Fund, or ARCH would be appreciated. A heartfelt thank you and appreciation to Dr. Jarrett, Dr. M. Shafiee, Dr. Berry, and Dr. Nicki Apostle, and all the wonderful, caring staff at the Renal Dialysis Unit. Our Dad’s last week was made so special by the warm and caring staff and volunteers at ARCH.
