It is with great sadness and sorrow that we announce the death of Tillie Sarlo in his 90th year. He passed away peacefully into the arms of his loving Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ at the Sault Area Hospital on Monday, April 4, 2011. Beloved husband of Josephine (Beppa) Sarlo for 68 years. Son of the late Francesco and Concetta Sarlo. Son-in-law of the late Joseph and Lucia Della Savia. Cherished dad of Ron (Mary), and Alan (friend Marilyn). Loving and proud grandfather “grumpy” of Michael (Jodi), Paul (Kelly), and Lori. Special great grandfather “grumpy” of Nicklas, Daniel, and Ema-Leigh. Brother of the late Albert Sarlo (Marion Desimone) (Joe), late Mary Greco (late Tony), late Guido-Dolly Sarlo (late Shirley) late Eva Girardi (late Red) and Lorraine Bruno (Ernie). Brother-in-law of the late Howie Seccariccia (late Velia-Fifi), late Frank Seccariccia (Emma), late Bruno Della Savia (late Bev), late Lido Della Savia (Lois). He is survived by many special and loving nieces and nephews. Friends may call at the Arthur Funeral Home & Cremation Centre on Friday, April 8, 2011 from 1 – 3:45 pm. Funeral Service to follow in the chapel at 4 pm. Mr. Bruce Cain officiating. Interment Holy Sepulchre Cemetery.
