At the Sault Area Hospital after a long and courageous battle with cancer, on Friday June 24, 2011, Felicity (Phyllis) Sarfi at the age of 69. Dearly beloved wife of Ferdinand (Fred) Sarfi and loving mother of Christopher Sarfi (Christina). Dearly loved Baba of Erin Christina Sarfi. Daughter of the late Steve and Pauline Tomas. Sister of Charles (Buck) Tomas (late Teresa), Mary Brown (late Forest), the late Mildred (Mickey) Ravlich (late George), the late Leo (Anita), the late Fernie (Dorothy) Tomas. Sister in law to Julie Prpich (Mike), Helen Kaiser of Australia, Anna Lorenz (Karl) of Germany and late Wenzel Sarfi (late Marlene). Phyllis will be sadly missed by her many nephews and nieces. Funeral Mass at St, Mary’s Ukrainian Catholic Church, Tuesday June 28th at 9a.m., with Rev. Jaroslaw Lazoryk officiating, followed by Committal Service at the Cemetery Chapel. Fred and Chris would like to express their gratitude to their family and friends, Drs Walde and Spadafore, and all the hospital staff for the care and compassion given to Phyllis during her long illness.
